If you could order a "pound of courage" for $5.00 or a "pinch of common sense" for $10.00...

Which is the better value? Why?

    I guess I would buy the "pinch of common sense" as I wouldn't then need the courage. However if I bought the "pound of courage" I would still require the common sense. Common sense is the least common of all senses - so $10.00 sounds a real bargain.

    Common sense will arm you with the tools needed to figure out how to get courage.

    I got twenty bucks. I'll take to orders of common sense to give to a couple of dudes I know who could really use some.

    Ditto. Common sense would keep you out of situations where you'd need to use courage :)
