Hi, i got infected by NSIS Media Extension (Adware) before too. Tried uninstalling it from Control Panel Add/Remove Programs? NSIS file is located in "Program Files\Common files\Nsis" Tried deleting the files? Well they will come back after u reboot/restart ur PC.
To Remove it Once and for all:
1. Delete the Nsis Folder in "Program Files\Common files" if u can't locate it, use the 'search' or 'find' option "depending on ur OS," and look for nsis.
2. Click on Start Menu, and Run. Type regedit. And Enter.
3. Go to LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NSIS Media and remove the key NSIS Media.
4. Go to LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\Uninstall
remove the NSIS key. (i've got to put a space after the "\" at some point cuz if not it won't apear correctly)
Reboot/Restart ur PC and NSIS folder is gone for good. Hope its useful or of help to u.
