What hotel is very close to Las Vegas/McCarran Airport?
I've got a 7 am flight out of LAS next month so I'd like a hotel that is really close - like walking distance. I'd prefer something decent/nice, but don't need a casino or shows.
I realize everyone has shuttlebus service, but that is another 30 minutes and getting up at 5 am PDT is 4 am, my time, back home.

Paradise Road leads right into the airport. I would strongly suggest you do NOT consider walking to the airport under any conditions. Check out your listings for motels with Paradise address--most well known is the Hard Rock . Closest on the Strip is Mandalay Bay.
Do NOT walk to the airport.

I wouldn't recommend walking, that airport is HUGE anymore!!! and honestly there really isn't anything decent in the very near area. I would suggest the MGM it's the closest and as soon as you walk out of the airport there's cabby's, 10-12 min's tops to get there!! also if you stay in a hotel like the MGM you'll have immediate public transportation, apposed an alternative you may have to call for one. You can not walk to the airport in this town! Stay at the MGM and take a taxi. The MGM is the closest big hotel and not far from the airport. Yes, the Hard Rock is close too, maybe closer than MGM.

I agree with the above poster. I wouldn't recommend walking..I cab ride should only cost you $10. The Hard Rock is pretty close and so is the MGM

I'd consider the Doubletree--It's off the strip (the other direction) so there is no traffic problem..and they have yummy cookies
