I think there were two reasons. One, he didn't like his role on the Flip Saunder's Pistons. Two, and the most important one, he felt disrespected by the Pistons offer, and then the Bulls offered him more. Personally, I think since the guy has a ring already, he made the right choice. They play for the ring, he got one, it was time to get paid.

since the pistons failed to win the big one again for the past two years, ben's value was diminishing in the free market as his free agency status came to pass...the decision to go with the best offer moneywise was probably understandable and i'm sure he was disappointed that the pistons didnt match what the bulls offered. But the bulls are a decent team and it will be challenging for ben to prove that his presence could make a difference in their playoff performances..but the bottom line is it was all about money and the pistons just didnt feel he was worth what he was offered

he remains a touch solid defender even if not even close to to what he has yet in comparison to the league is particularly solid. His offense is terrible in spite of the reality that. i imagine the Ben Wallace flow will more beneficial benefit wallace himself and the followers of detroit reason detroit became wallace's position and the city of detroit nevertheless loves him (optimistically now more beneficial tickets will be bought for his or her sake.)

He was unhappy with the offer that he got from the pistons so he went with the team that was willing to put big money on the line

Cuz of the money, main reason y athletes would leave their teams. U could say Flip Saunders but when it comes down to, if the pistons wouldve offered him more money he wouldve stayed.

I think money had to do with it like all athletes. Also he sees chicago being an up and coming team that improves more and more each year and have a bright future and detroit seems to be on their way down year to year.

he didnt leave for the money, and plus it was a 5 year, 48 mil contract if im not mistaken. he never liked it in detroit. and he didnt like how the detroit orginization was ran. he wasnt worth the money anyways, he is overpaid in chicago. im a pistons fan anyways.

this was his final long term contract. he is already 31 i believe. 10 million dollars more is a huge difference. plus, the nba is all about business anyway. they get rid of you when they find someone younger and better.

he went to the bulls then went back to the pistons

bull's offered around $60 mil, and detroit $48 mil.
