can anyone tell me which media player is the best for windows 2k/xp ? NOT WINAMP, windows media player, bsplayer, acdsee, vlc, total/windows cmd . i'm thinking about some audio recording studio programs....

try and get your hands on a program called pro tools...its an excellent program if your considering recording music like bands or w/e...this program is used by many television stations and recording studios
