PTA Fundraising? What method encourages you to dig into your pockets?

50/50 draw, brownie sale, dunk the teacher, throw pies at the principal, wet t shirt contest no that was the fundraiser for the .........never mind!

I would say that maybe raffels, with an interesting object that a lot of people would like to have , keep it in a smaller price range.

$30.00 to $40.00 price range with raffel ticketts being maybe a dollar.....

or maybe something like a bicycle , raffel off ticketts at a price that if one was to not win they aren't really loosing a lot of money...

small amounts of money ( smaller priced ticketts ) seem to make them sell twice as many..

Also Good causes will make someone more likely to put up the money, rather then a stupid reason..

Only a personal opinion don't know if it will help or not. I hate the gift cards and scratch cards and my favroite has been candles.The best candle I have purchased was from a candle company was called Candle Cane Lane.
