How can i get rid of this?

I had this same problem; all of a sudden, one day every time I brought up an IE browser window, this pesky HPIZplus450 would try and install itself, and if I didn't cancel it right away, I had to sit there and click off box after box of errors before I finally could cancel it. This would usually happen 2 or 3 times before I could turn it off.
I went to www.Dogpile.com and tried to research it, and found somewhere that said it had something to do with the Hewlett-Packard Image Zone software, and since my equipment is all made by HP, I decided to contact them.
I went to www.hp.com and chose 'Contact HP', wrote them a letter to which they responded 'go to Start-Run' and type 'msconfig' and on the 'Startup' tab go and un-choose the box next to HP Image Zone. When I did this, the Windows XP operating system gave me an error each time I rebooted the machine, and it didn't quit trying to install HPIZplus450. HP wrote me a follow-up letter asking if their suggestion had fixed the problem and when I explained what had happened, they said to choose to restore the original configuration, an option given each time the machine re-boots, and then go to the Control Panel and choose Add/Remove programs. I 'Removed' the HP Image Zone program, and that finally took care of it.
I apologize for the lengthy explanation, but I wanted you to understand the entire process, so that it might better assist you in correcting your problem. Best of luck to you.
