weird shrimp?

my parents and i are cuttig out the gross intestines in some shrimp so we can cook up some gumbo. some of the shrimp have yellow stuff in with the intestines and it looks really gross. my mom called it a tomber lol but does anyone kno if this is ok shrimp or not?

    Yes is fine, unless you have another reason to believe is not, like rotten odor or strong discoloration.

    They should be fine. The intestines can hold all kinds of different matter... whatever the shrimps ate!
