Does anyone have a problem with the battery on their Motorola Razr cell phone ?

My battery dies constantly even though I charge it. I only get about 20 minutes talk time and it's dead. grrrrrrrrrr!

Rechargeable batteries are only good for anywhere between ten and fifteen months. After that time period, they can't be expected to offer a full charge.

The best way to prolong the life of any rechargeable battery is to let it almost entirely die out, then give a full charge without using it during the charge cycle. That will make it last a little longer than if you are constantly recharging and using it over and over again.

Another important factor is that you actually charge it on a wall charger at home, rather than a car charger. Car chargers can't condition a battery, whereas wall chargers will. that will keep your battery fresh for a little longer.

I have a RAZR myself, and I haven't had any problems with it. I've actually been greatly impressed by it.

I have a problem with my battery also. I can fully charge it about two hours later the meter is red. Then I can turn it off and back on and the meters green again. I have alltel and one of the guys in the store basically told me the razr just sucks.

I was interested in this question because I dont' think my battery in my Razer last as long as the previous phone, however, after reading what you had to say - that's REALLY bad. I would ask your provider about that. That doesn't seem right at all. But my Razor I don't think last as long as the last phone upgrade I had. I wonder if it's something with the type of phone itself??? Let me know if you hear something.

you consider changing the battery, or carry a portable cell phone battery for around 20$, it will give at least 3hours of more talk time! hope it helped;)
