I drank Irn Bru (more than once) growing up in England. The first time was because I had never had it and was curious. The second time was much later, when I thought I MUST be mistaken that it had tasted so bad! LOL

I 've tried it while visiting Edinburgh. For me it was made famous by Inspector Rebus in the books by Ian Rankin. It tasted okay.
