What would an invention that upped your gas mileage by 20% be worth?

Get a lawyer and search for patents and prior art, and if it is truly original, get all the patents before you contact too many people. Such an invention would certainly be worth millions, and would effect worldwide economies in the billions of dollar range.

Patent it first. Get help with marketing. Sometimes, partnering with a company to help with finances, marketing, and manufacturing, an inventor ends up with more $$$$ than if he tries to do the whole show himself.

Sometimes, just selling the invention is the most profitable.... then invest the money received.

A lawyer would be able to guide you for some of the questions. Maybe a patent lawyer, etc, could recommend the best path to follow.

We should go back to the old "flat head" engines of fifty years ago.

But the oil companies and car companies will never do that.

It would mean sacrificing a little power and speed, but the gas consumption would drop more than 20%. Then bing! go all the oil profits.

I can double your gas mileage. Only reset your trip counter every other fill up, but only use the gallons ( or liters) from the second to do the calculations to find your miles (or km's) per gallon (or liters).

i would go to your local news...once you are on TV you would have EVERY person affiliated with gas, cars or anything else dealing with the situation would be knocking at your door with offers...just make sure you have SOLID proof that it is YOUR idea so that no one can steal or jack off your idea....if you do have the cure make sure i get some!!!!
