how often should the average 5 person home be vacumed?

Depends on the amount that you use your home...heavy foot traffic, work boots(?), pets(?), food crumbs, etc.

5 people=every day.

I do it every day - can't help it, I don't like messes or dirt.

I vacume everyday. Sometimes the bedrooms can go a few days. But the stairs ,living room and ,kitchen daily.2 adults and 3 teens. And 5 cats..

It really depends on how that 5 person home is being used.

If they are kids and bringing dirt in, probably once a week. Again, if you have children playing on the floor all the time, probably again good to do it once a week. If you are talking well behaved teenagers probably not so often, unless of course someone suffers from allergies or if you have pets.

I would think you would need to vacuum at least twice a week. Just according to how much traffic is in and out. There are only 2 in my family and I vacuum once a week.

I have 4 people in my home and 2 dogs and 2 cats and i vaccum every other day, but i should vaccum everyday..

pick up all the toys or w/e and then vaccum

plus in the long run, before holidays or family/friends come over, u won't have to freak out and clean alot, the house won't be too bad

I have always heard that you should vacuum 1 time per week for each person that lives there. It's a lofty goal.

Once a day. There's 5 of us at my house and the dust accumulates very fast.

I'm a certified carpet cleaner and the text book says every other day.
