    Most of the newer toys like that have some type of accessory that is either activated with the magnet or to pick up a small brush for the ponies hair.

    Because some of the accessories that come with them have something on them that is activated by the magnetic foot. For example, a cash register has a drawer that can only be opened by the magnet.
