How does God looks like?Is he Human being or just a Point of Light?

No one really knows what God looks like. We can only imagine. It's like the secrets of the universe. We don't know them, and maybe we were never meant to know all of them.

It is said God created us in His image, but not in His physical image. He created us in His spiritual image. This means, to me, that God is a spirit. What is a spirit? I am not really sure. Is that a soul? A ghost? A....what?

I know it means without mortal form. When we die, the body dies, but the spirit, the soul...lives on.

We Christians do not believe it is a sin to draw pictures of God or Christ. I don't believe anyone has drawn a picture of the Holy Ghost. Why? Because we know even less about what the Holy Ghost looks like.

It helps a great deal to have some sort of image of God. It's the same as trying to describe a spreadsheet to someone. Don't you think actually SEEING a spreadsheet is a heckuva lot easier to understand than listening to someone try to describe a spreadsheet?

Same as a picture. Take a picture of an awesome sunset with all the colors reflecting off the clouds. Look at the picture, then try to describe it to a blind person who was born blind and has no idea what it is like to see.

We don't know what God looks like. But having an image, as inaccurate as it might be, gives us something tangible and makes it easier for us to pray to God. Understand, we are not praying to the IMAGE. We are praying to God, but being human, we need some sort of visual reference. That visual reference is not a sin nor insulting or whatever... it is just human nature.

I have no idea what God looks like. But I can assure you They look nothing like an old man with a beard, or a dazzling light. Being an entity of more dimensions than you can count it would be difficult to see God in Their entirety. Some fortunate few have seen God, but most of those would not have survived the experience. Some say God is everywhere, so just look around. If you're not a sociopath, then you already know the difference between good and bad. Just be good, and you're there.

Dante Alighieri put an interesting description at the end of his "Divine Comedy" that makes God out to be a brilliant set of three interlinking rings. It's at the end of the "Paradiso," probably the least-read part of the Comedy.

Then again, Dante also met a farting demon and a bunch of people in the moon while he was on this journey, so take it for what it's worth.

Well speaking from the perspective of someone who knows all (my perspective) I can safely say that I am the closest thing to god you will ever encounter. I would bestow unto you some great knowledge like, "the meaning of life" or "the secret to inner peace and infinite happiness" , but that waste basket filled with vinegar and tampons you call your brain would just explode on insertion.

God is pure love. We can not understand God with our finite brains. When we leave our bodies behind, "seeing" God will not be an issue. Our perception will be opened up and we will know God.

Ex 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

Ex 33:21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

Ex 33:22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

Ex 33:23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

there are a lot of religions and they call it in different ways like Yahweh, Allah etc.. but still they bow to only one God. sometimes, we are being misled by different religions and practices that we sometimes forget if our relationship solely with God is constant or not.

God doesnt have a shape or form, if he did, everyone would assosiate God with it, think about it, he is everywhere and in everything, how can you not see the beauty?

well it sounds like you want a definate image of God when our minds can't provide that! God is Love and thats what our minds can process!

Power of mind could imagine (infinity) as it is unknown

Mind can recognize eternity though it is untouchable

nobody can tell you about shape,,,

but you may try to think about a computer that has the

capability to THINK freely and says :-

"hmmmm,as my RAM is 2 GB,so my creator must have

a memory of 4 GB or lets say 10 GB!!

He is about 1 meter tall,40-50 kg weight,may be uses

an electricity power of ,,lets say 500 volts,huge mother-

board,100 TB HDD,MP of ,,lets say 100 GHz,,,,"

would he (computer) be right?

try to imagine out dilemma!!!

try to read about adjectives in Islam( 99 names for God)
