Can I use a 2gb micro sd for my LG fusic phone or is 1gb the max expansion?

a 2GB will not work, I've already tried to get one for my fusic. The most expansion that you'll get is the 1GB.

i believe a 2gb will work however you will want to contact LG and get the specs from them. they'll be able to tell you what the max size caed is for your phone.
