Just don't over do it. Vitamins are good, because most people don't get a balanced diet in today's world. If you take too many vitamins it can have harsh effects, so I'd suggest you consult your doctor if you are taking bunches of powerful vitamins. If, however, you are just taking a multiple daily vitamin, you generally don't need any physician's input.

They are good for you in moderation if you take to much then they could be bad for you.

You should always try to have a well balanced diet to give you all the vitamins and minerals your body needs in to days society with work and family pressures it can be hard to find the time but do what you can then top up on vitamins you are missing in your diet.

If you are eating a well balanced diet you don't need them. If you aren't eating well then vitamins are probably going to be good for you. Water soluble vitamins taken in excess are going to be expunged from the body anyways, just watch the ones that have a toxic dosage.

As with anything, doing it to the excess can be harmful. You should consult a doctor ( Or at least a nutritionist). Many vitamins past what your body does not need will simply pass them. You probably are wasting money on some of them.

Good for you,and talk to your doctor to make sure that the vitamins you take are the right ones.

As long as you take only the recommended dose and not overdo it, it is fine; although vitamins are better absorbed by the body if it came from natural food.

What I heard is that any vitamins or minerals your body don't use, your body throws away. So there should be no problem. That's what I heard from a friend studying medicine.
