Girls, do you think Tampax Compak are so discreet?

I don't see why it matters, most women menstruate and most people know women menstruate, menstruation isn't an embarrassing thing the only reason for such 'discrete' products is to keep menstrual taboos alive so that woman continue to be embarrassed and ignorant about menstruation and so continue to use menstrual options like tampons, despite the many health risks.

Hell, between my menstrual cup and menstrual activism i could probably make you all cringe - menstruation, oh my god so embarrassing! No really, there is nothing embarrassing about it and with the issues involved it does a whole lot of harm to be embarrassed about such things.

They are more "discreeet" that full sized applicator tampons, however the BRIGHT YELLOW packaging doesnt help !!

As for embarassing stories, I have pulled my ipod out of my handbag on the train...at rush hour, and had a "deiscreet compax tampax" tangled up in the wires - it flew accross the packed train, and I didnt even have the option of pretending it didnt happen / it wasnt me, as everyone turned and looked at me with a sympathetic look as I scrambled around at someones feet to pick it up !! Not my greatest hour !!

Hi, there not really discreet now as everybody knows what they are. But they are good for travel purposes. I havent had any embarrasing tales though

They aren't discreet, just easier to carry in your hand on the way to the bathroom in public (work). My step-son saw them back in the package and in the garbage and thought we started smoking cigars... he's 11 and it cracked us all up. At least it's fooling some one.

They are discreet as long as you keep them out of reach.

who cares if its discreet or not? its something every woman has to go though. who cares if its discreet or not, if it does the job properly is the right question to be asking.

I love them to! That is what I use in my purse when I go places. They take up less space. I would chose them any day!

yeah but it was a lillet had them in my bag on night out and boyfriend went in bag for a lighter and pulled one out in front of every one found it really funny!!

well, they are much smaller than the regular monster sized tampons, i have yet to embarress myself with them. maybe when school starts...
