I want to work in the software industry. What's the quickest path? What languages should I study?

I've just started object-oriented programming in a community college course using Java (BlueJ) and I really enjoy it. I want to know if I'm on the right path and where should I go from here.

    you have to improve the algorithm.. and learn on c

    Java is the best one a like and you can improve your live by checking the sun.com certification programm.

    you will also need more on .NET

    If your scholl have Borland Jbuilder please try to enjoy it.
