For Bush supporters, what would it take?
Is there any act of Treason that President Bush could blatantly commit that you would not stand behind?
I regretably voted for him myself, but as soon as I saw his true nature I opposed him. What would it take for a staunch Bush defender to turn against him?
The basis for my question is the constructive treason against the Constitution and the People that is blatant in the Bush administration.
Apparently, Bush supporters remedy the situation by simply 'not seeing' his transgressions. I suppose this works. Hey, why change sides and admit you're wrong when you don't have to?

Losing their job, finding out they had no heath care, and could not meet the tough requirements for any kind of aid.
Many people who oppose the "welfare state" run right out and apply for whatever governmental benefits they think they are entitled to, as soon as THEY have the need.

What would it take for you to wake up and realize what the truth really is? Stop being so influenced by the Media and the idiots in Hollywood who have no clue as to what reality really is. Bush has done a lot to ensure that evil people don't come here and take our freedoms away. I don't agree with bush 100% I think that this war is being fought to pollitically correct and that there are other areas that he needs to go after- like the borders and he needs to shut down all imports of foriegn oil and open the oil fields in the US again. But I do think it was the correct thing to invade Iraq and if the media would start reporting the truth, then maybe this country would be united. "United we stand, Divided we Fall" The media is intentionally dividing this country.
How dare you accuse the President of treason- you have no evidence to back that up. I am sure that the Marines, who are giving their lives so that you can retain your freedom of speech are very proud of how you are abusing that freedom right now!

Baahaaa bahaaaa they follow blindly over
hill and dell, heading for the precipice, one sheep behind the other, never daring to look left, only right as they follow the head ram(Bush) to certain political destruction, while bringing about more death and embarrassment to this great nation.
History will not be kind to GWB,his legacy will be that of a hypocritical sudo Christan, war monger that has brought this country to the verge of World War three.Peace prize my azz get real ,you sound so ignorant even using that analogy .Bush and peace are an oxy moron. And aptly so for he is a moron in every sense of the word.

Given you are talking about one of the most loyal citizens of this country, I take your question to be rhetorical. But ponder this.
I think Bush should be up for a Nobel Peace Prize, but won't be given the politics behind the award. The free Western World should be on their knees daily thanking the President and Donald Rumsfeld for their service to our country.
These are true American leaders that will go down in history as couragous leaders that knew right from wrong and did the right thing.
This all while previous presidents are still trying to figure out the meaning of the word 'is' and giving the Islamo-facist eight years to prepare. Shameful. Not to mention giving North Korea nuclear technology and speeding up their program tremendously. And allowing China to park in the Panama canal.

Bush supporters would stand behind him even if pictures of him showed up with him in bed with a twelve year old boy.

I voted for Bush and a lot of the things he has done I don't like but we put him there. I didn't see much of a choice in the last election and I'm not sure it will be any better this time around

I'd say for any president, high crimes and misdemeanors - treason included - would suffice to support impeachment.
To merely lose support for the president - I guess anything could do that. You'd have to look at the whole situation - the actions of the president, the effects of support and non-support, the context, and the political alternatives - and decide.

First you need to find a starting place for your point. What he has done in the past so far has in no way been showen to be Treason.

The only treason being committed are by the dimocRATic Senators, anti-war demonstraters, brain-dead liberals, MoveOn.org, A.N.S.W.E.R., billionaire Soros, Shehag,
and the rest of these f**** anti-american SOB's.

I suspect that you would call about anything he does an act of treason.
