How many emails do you think were (or are being) generated by the Yahoo! Best Answer notices?

Second part, how long do you think it'll take until Yahoo fills up its users' mailboxes with these emails?

Closest guess could win best answer (and maybe a few more emails from yahoo!) :-).

[We're just having a little fun here. Please no one take offense.]

Wouldn't it be great if they had a recall feature, like Novell Groupwise or HPDesk or Outlook?

C'mon folks. Someone has to have an idea of how many users we have and how many questions get rated each day x the number of notifications we're getting.

    Love it!

    I think we should be granted 1 point for each best answer repeat we're getting! Or simply advance everybody one category, compliments of the house.

    Only kidding Yahoo (better type this in as they're no known for

    their humor)

    OK, so it will be until "the inkwell goes dry again"

    It will probably be by Monday.

    Somehow they select weekends to correct problems,

    just when we need them the most.

    I'm getting spammed in my yahoo box by yahoo! too.

    They had supressed notification while they "upgraded" the best answer message response.

    Then when they turned it back on, apparently, they're recycling through that buffer over and over and over again!

    This is getting to be a huge pain deleting emails every two seconds. I'm up to 29 notifications per BA now too.

    It's filling up my mailbox!

    I reported it a few hours ago when I only had 3 of each, but the river continues to flow freely.

    I turned it in as spam! (which is what it is).

    well yesterday I got 4 best answers and I know its been close to 10 emails Ive gotten for each one.... But with the thousands on yahoo answers Im sure it could be well over 100000

    I just got my mailbox cleaned out after ignoring it 1/2 the summer, I am not looking forward to looking at it again. Pray for my safe return.

    I had 3 best answers and got 21 e-mails. Its not fair they toyed with my emotions! Just imagine I woke -up and found 21 e-mails I thought I must have won the lotto and everyone knew but me !

    You can just choose not to receive emails on your answers. If you don't choose that, I have a feeling it would be a LOT!!
