George Bush?
If you are George Bush, how do you feel about yourself. Do you know that most people think that you are stupid? Do you know that you are going down as one of the worst presidents ever? How do you deal with this on a daily basis? How do you feel that your ratings are lower than Richard Nixons? How do you feel about your Vice President getting richer the longer the war in Iraq goes on, maybe you are getting a kick back from Haloburton as well. Would you resign in disgrace? Or do you hold your head up high and not know how dumb you really are?

First off, understand that I am NOT the current president of the USA, I'm a teenager just trying to answer this question, although I must say that it'll be more philosophical than political.
Politics isn't one of my strong points, I know enough information to get by, but not enough to be able to debate with someone who supports the opposition of my viewpoint. I do know, however, that many people disagree with the president's actions, and I'm aware that he has and does make some mistakes.
But who doesn't?
No one is perfect, including presidents of the USA. No one can ever be seen by everyone as perfect because each individual has their own idea of what's perfect, and it simply is impossible to meet up to everyone's expectations. The president is making mistakes, ones that can cost us more than we can imagine, but understand that there's always a balance. He does something wrong, something right, somewhere, somehow, at some time will occur to balance it out.
If you can think of many insults about the president, there should be an equal number of compliments, regardless of how minor or insignificant it may be.
If there isn't a balance, then chaos occurs. Then again, maybe that's why our world is so messed up. I guess the best way to handle it is to not focus on just what's wrong, even though the media has a tendency to focus their viewers' attention to the negative. This is done because the media want to maintain their popularity. Our media focuses on negativity, rather than positivity, which is why we have a bad view of the President and issues in the world. Regardless of all of this, I think we need to find out, even though it takes a little more effort, about what GOOD is happening in our world.
Anyone can be negative, that's easy. But it takes effort to be positive.

I bet the main reason the police keep people away from a plane crash is they don't want anybody walking in and lying down in the crash stuff, then, when somebody comes up, act like they just woke up and go, "What was THAT?!"

I think he feels pretty good about himself, knowing that he has been doing what he thinks is right, and not caving in to pressure.
I don't think he's overly concerned about his approval ratings, nor should he be.
He can't be re-elected, so he's spending the last term in office working, instead of campaigning.
(Unlike the democratic senators who are doing tons of campaigning and no work)
