If you obviously need points in order to participate on Yahoo Answers, then why does Yahoo site you for a violation when you include "Thanks for 2 points" in your answer?
Read the question guys, I said they site you for a violation even when you answer the question and include "Thanks for 2 points".

this site if for questions and answers. your reply of 'thanks for the two points' could be seen as gaming for points as you didnt answer a question. yahoo answers take this kind of replying seriously and your not the first that have had a violation over this. if you get too many violations you can have your account suspended. good luck and be careful how you answer questions. the community guidelines are available if your not sure how to reply or ask a question.

It means that someone clicked on the flag after your answer and said it wasn't a legitimate answer.
