I saw someone who thinks he can do a better job than the US government. He views defense spending as, out of control and that money could be better spent on education.
Education, particularly higher education, much like driving privileges, is not a right, it is an option and a privilege. Many if not most of us in the US, who are not privileged minorities, have spent thousands and thousands of dollars educating our kids. This is a privilege we've earned because we were willing to pay for it, personally.
The liberals think differently, as do the minorities. They believe that government should pay for their kids education, from pre-school, all the way through college.
I say, to hell with that, you decided to have these kids, now you take the responsibility and see that they receive the education you deem necessary based on your ability to pay. I personally, have financially assisted seven of my kids through college, and I' not a wealthy guy. So, it can be done!
Personally, I like a strong defense department. I believe that most of that money is well spent.

They do make a good point but you think he could of found a better way to display his ideas rather then compare money to Oreo cookies.
You also got to think that the military is hurting as it is so oviously we need these funds and could prob use more.

I think it's sad that he thought he'd have to use cookies for people to be interested...I think it's all very valid...there's such a thing as overkill and bringing up your citizens to be scared of everyone else...anyone diferent is a good way to make sure no-one will argue that these aren't necessaties...some people need to look beyond their own backyard and realise not everyone is out to get them personaly and with no reason.

You dont become the strongest nation in the world by sitting around doing nothing. The reason our military is as good as it is because of the investments that are made into it.

Think, do you really want to trust our economy and national security to a liberal hippie ice cream peddler, and a TV personality who needs an r in his first name? Why do you think every"fact" he presented was accurate, because it was on the internet or it was a video? The funds we spend on the military translate into jobs, security, and minimal US casualties because of our investment in technology.
