how do you work with someone with cerebral palsy?

I work in a very busy grocery store in the bakery department-they have hired a girl who has cerebral palsy(I have not worked with her yet,I am on med. leave) who has limited use of her hands and cannot walk far.My co-workers are having a problem with her. What can I do to make it easier for all especially her to work with? Their patience is really on edge right now and they don't know what to do. One of the co-worker even asked for help.I have a hearing disability and I know how cruel people can be.Can anyone help me?????

i would think she can do whatever she is suppose to do or they would not have hired her, with that said, you do your job and hopefully she can do her job. and for the ones that are with "patiences on edge" they need to think of if it was them with the disabilities, how would they want to be treated. be kind to her, she has enough on her plate to deal with without some insensitive jerks adding to it
