MEN,,,why is so difficult to cry in front of a woman even if you been together forever??

not all men are like that i have been with my man for a year and he is totally comfortable crying around me, hes not girly or anything its just if he needs a cry he does!! men that cant cry are just not comfortable in themselves

First of all, we are expected to be strong and not crying for the wrong reasons, but a man who's not willing to cry for the right reasons in front of his woman that he's been with for a while is probably a man who's not willing to let his woman, or maybe even himself, know some of the deeper things about himself.

A lot of men have been brought up believing that crying is a form of weakness. And perhaps they feel that if they let women (or anyone, really) see them cry, then they become less masculine in that person's mind.

would u rather the guy to pretend crying and falling for his unsincerity feelings?..not all men cry in front of a woman,but what abt behind them?and whatever they are feeling inside?sometimes,men can be quite emotional too.. :)..just need to understand them better..

I am very secure in my masculinity, and have no problem crying when the need is there...either tears of sadness, or tears of joy. Some men think it's not masculine to cry .

It a pride thing and some have been taught to cry in private not in public because they feel it shows there weakness.

Makes us look weak and even in this day in age of PC we still have a sense of honor to maintain

cause men are supposed to be strong and tuff and when they cry it completly deletes that picture of them and brings out there sensitive side, and some of there friends might make fun..

Ome of us have too much pride. What some of us don't know is, man is universal, he can do it all, we don't need reassurance, we are steady as a train. A real man knows that.
