Degree by distance education?

I am looking to get a BS degree (I have an AS), but do not have the time or flexibility at work to go to a normal school.

Any suggestions for online programs that do not cost an arm and a leg? And also are from a school that is not a diploma mill.

The only reason for online colleges to exist is to drive public and private universities to competitively put their coursework online. The best thing to do is find an in-state university with both online and night classes. Yes, it is costly, however, you have options there too.

You can apply for federal aid at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov./

You can look for scholarships on http://www.fastweb.com./

You can apply for a loan.

A good education is worth paying for, even when it's not with your own money.
