Dear ,
Cathedral Garden Road is on the other side of the Gemini Flyover when you look from Woodlands Drive - in - Hotel.Diagonally opposite to US Consulate across the flyover.
Not to be confused with Cathedral Road as one mentioned in one answer here.It is a narrow road, curves gently near Gemini Parsn Complex...( where the very old & famouse ' Gemini Film Studio existed.earler.nomore now)....

Cathedral Road is near Jemini bridge, Nungambakkam. There are lot of Jewellery showrooms in that road like Prince Jewellery, Khazana Jewellery, etc., etc. Cognizant Technology Solutions also has its office there. The famous Woodlands Drive-In is situated there. Chola Sheraton, a five star hotel, is in the Cathedral Road. More importantly, the main gate of the US Consulate is in the Cathedral Road. You can also ask for Dr. Radhakrishnan Road, as the Cathedral Road starts at the end of Dr. Radhakrishnan Road. I guess this is enough for you to find the Cathedral Road. Best of luck to find your friend :)

"St. George's Cathedral
It is at 222 Cathedral road. Visit : Daily 0800 to 1800. It is a white colonial church, with a beautiful garden. It is the headquarters of the church of South India. It has a 130 feet spire with its interior very light and airy with stucco walls. The decorated roof and many fascinating tablets and tombs add to beauty of the spire. "
Is that the one you are looking for? The Cathedral is a huge landmark as the description explains.
