Why do some people lie so much. Why can't anyone ever be honest?

Most people lie probably because they're so unhappy with the end result of themselves. They did something they're not proud of,....or they did something they're ashamed of. People who take pride in all they do don't lie.

Id like to know the answer to that too. Around the city where I live, I am aware of so many people that lie and basically are drama queens.

I think for the attention and to bring someone else down so the liar can bring themselves up. Its like getting themselves off but by lying and hurting people.

i fell from your question that there is some one who cheat you ?! i just want to say that we lie sometimes only to get over a difficult situation or to be on a great picture with who we love and also we can't get perfection any way just our prophet mohamed who get perfection so we must take care and be brilliant and act wisely with all people and know what wa r saying 'causeان لم تتكلم ملكت الكلمه وان تكلمت ملكتك الكلمة and if u feel that who lie on you are good in all things u must try with her|him to know why he|she lied!!!!!!and if the reason is convinced you must have clarity in your heart and what ever people do you always be bounteous <god bless you>

In my case, my degree of honesty depends on how close I am to that person. I don't usually lie, though, usually it's just about giving incomplete information. Lying can become a habit, as sometimes you have to lie to cover up previous lies.

every one feels like they have to justify there actions if they lie its usually because they are embarassed of the truth because of letting down there loved ones lying always seems the more attractive concept

Lying is human tendency. Its part of our human imperfection. But its easier to just be honest and there are some good people out there that will be honest.... :-)

telling the truth can hurt ..cause more problems or is not always needed..

THEY LIE SO MUCH BECAUSE THE FIRST LIE WORKED OUT SO WELL AND GOOD....THEY GOT ADDICTED ....SO THEY GET GOOD AT IT AND MAKE IT A WAY OF LIE...OH I MEAN LIFE....
