how do I change avi files to mp3 files??
can anyone help me out?? I have some video that I recorded on my digital camera and I put it onto my PC, I want to get the music from the video I took , so I can listen to it on my mp3 player ,...what is the best way to do this?? convert the file? any help would be greatly appreciated ..thank you..

u will need to use a converting software like winavi converter or #1 video convertor

you can download a program like "total recorder" off the web. Just google it.
You cannot convert a avi video file into a mp3 file, but you can use a audio recording program to create a mp3 file from your video/audio avi file.

I would check out virtualdub which is a very powerful and free video editor. With that program you could load the avi into it and extract the audio in a number of formats.
It may not be the easiest to get into but it is more flexible in the long run.

IF you have itunes you can change it by going to edit>preferences>advanced>importing then change the drop screen that says import using: then change it to mp3 and click "ok". After this right click the song and click conver to mp3...hope this helps
