If 61% of Americans are obese or overweight, why are all avatars thin?!?

That's one million-dollar question that only Yahoo! can answer.

Avatars are mostly chosen and customized to what a person aspires to look like...some use them to display moods...in most chat clients, avatars are a complete opposit of what the person actually resembles

because America has this thing with looking and being someone else. my friend roleplays all the time and all her characters look skinny and pretty. shes very pretty even though she doesnt think so but she is a little heavy. she likes to pretend she is someone else all the time because shes not happy with who she is. It really bugs me but its just how most of America is.
