Does anyone know if you can freeze sugar florist paste?

I'm using Squire's sugar florist paste for a cake topping, but will have a couple of bits left over. Has anyone tried this before and does it come out OK when you defrost it?

I just seal mine in a freezer bag and remove as much air as possible. It has lasted for 6 months so far. Flower paste doesn't cost much so if it doesn't last, get some more; Squires are fairly good at delivering (if it is in stock).
