im so tired of listening to the music I have on my computer/ cd's...
whats some good bands that are really guitar oriented?
Im a big dashboard confessional, dave matthews, jack johnson, and relient K fan...
anybody know any bands that are kinda like any of those that are either rock or acoustic or anything inbetween??
I also really need some new things to learn to play on guitar thats decently difficult, like about as hard as eric clapton or dave matthews

Alright, listen to Keane, Death Cab for Cutie, Maroon 5, The Killers, Lifehouse, and Coldplay. According to the bands you listed, I really think that you will like all of those - they all have melodic songs - great instrumentals coupled with fantastic lyrics. Check 'em out and enjoy!
