Somebody else thinks that Bath it's a perfect place to go in a weekend with your couple?

Bath is beautiful. Fantastic for wandering around with your partner. Be sure to check out:

- the amazing river and weir at the centre of town

- the cathedral

- the Georgian architecture in streets like Royal Crescent

- the food markets

- the pubs

Also, I believe the spa has finally opened to the public which means you can now bathe in the warm waters just like the Romans did!

Bath is a terrific place. You cannot help but have a great time exploring it. Do the one day tour to Stonehenge, Salisbury and Avesbury if you have no experience with the ANCIENT places, then spend an evening checking out the pubs. Try a balloon ride, walk the place, and say hello to the pub-keepers at Hob Goblin for me.

And, of course, the visit to the baths is obligatory.

Find a B & B ---hotel prices are a bit steep.

I spent a short time walking around the town when I went to visit my daughter and her baby in the hospital there. I plan to make a longer visit next time I stay with daughter in Westbury.

My husband and I are a couple but we don't both fit in our tub at the same time. A spa would be nice.
