Evolution?
Other than bad teachers and schools, what makes people embrace evolution when there is no scientific proof that one species ever evoled into a different species . No fossils exist to demonstrate it as a valid theory.
Wow, such rubbish. volution is not growing a longer nose, it is one species evoling into another and of this there are no fossil records, just a new specieis showing up. Why do people just assume it is a Christina thing? It is a science thing.
To those that like to call names instead of sticking to facts I have no use for you, you are proven products of public education. To those that question, I have a PhD in forensic anthropology, geology, and masters in Biology. A Doctor of "Philosopsy" Degree will get you a ticket on the subway in this field. Please review your facts before you spout off about something you know nothing about. Wanting something to be is not the same as what is or is not. Evolution has not been proved - ever, even Darwin admitted that much. There are not enough years in the history of the world for the mutations you cite to have taken place. The missing links are just that - missing. We have before, we have after. What happened to the in between. No cats, cats. No dogs, dogs. Surely something that had traits of one would be found, some horse dog, some reptile cat, some proof. Nothing folks, nothing. All we have proof of is sudden appreances - ask yourself why without attacking Christians.

The real reason that people embrace the theory of evolution is that if they did not exercise a belief in a system of creation that does not include the existance of a god or God, then they would be forced to accept that there is a being responsible for intelligent design. This would then put them in a moral dillema that would mean that they would have to face up to some moral consequences, viz. "If there is intelligent design responsible for creation, then I have a responsibility to seek out the designer and find out their purpose for my existance".
Its so much easier to spend your life saying "there is no God" with the wishful thinking that He is such a benevolent being that He wouldn't send you to hell, after all you haven't been that bad have you?

So there is no proof that... I have a question for you Colorado: Where did you get your Bachelors Degree in Science (Biology, you Masters Degree in Science and your Doctor of Philosopsy Degree? What makes you an expert in Evolution? If you really want to disprove the Theory of Evolution I suggest you become an expert in the field and get the three degrees above. If you don't do that then all your words are just so much hot air.

Science works this way:
1. a very simple TESTABLE question is asked;
2. a hypothesis (suggested answer) is posited;
3. that answer is tested (experiments are performed, etc.);
4. if the tested answer is proven several times over a long period of time, it becomes a Theory;
5. The Theory of Evolution has been proven as rigorously as the Theory of Gravity (do you doubt gravity?).
Species do NOT evolve into other species.
An isolated group experiences a mutation that causes a small change that allows members of that particular group to have greater reproductive success than members of groups that have not experienced the mutation. After a long time, the descendants of that particular group can no longer breed with members of the original parental stock. At that point there are 2 distinct species. There are still chimpanzees and gorillas, as well as humans, all of which have evolved from a common ancestor which is probably no longer with us. We do not expect fossils to show a continuous series of changes from one anthropoid ancestor to humans.
I'm probably not explaining this very well, but most creationists simply do not understand the scientific method or the ways in which evolution has been proven. For those of you who are really open to understanding, rather than already knowing the answer because it has been revealed by some higher power, I recommend reading the essays of Stephen J. Gould from his Natural History magazine essays or the books of Richard Dawkins. Both of these scientists explain quite precisely, in terms that educated non-scientists can understand, the process of evolution. By the way, Gould is quite sympathetic to religion and sees no necessary conflict between science and belief in God.

There is no such thing as complete proof but I would think that over 200 years worth of experiments and observations would be worth more than a bit of mumbo-jumbo and garbage from your mouth. The fossil record has provided many misssing links, something you would know if you weren't a fanatical rabid creationist, and I think that the bad teachers and schools are those that bend over backwards to teach lies to their students on the say-so of people like you. Read a biology textbook before posting next time.

Theres all kinds of evidence......but i'm sure you don't really know that. Somebody told you there was none and you believed them.
Pick up a genetics book or a research paper. Spend 15 years in school. It's not my fault you're to ignorant to figure it out.
Evolution is good science. Deny it if you want. I don't care.
By the way...theres tons of "fossil evidence"....they've even found species they think may be that "missing link"
Hell if you don't like to read watch PBS. This stuff is on NOVA all the time.

Species don't evolve into other species. Individuals compete for environmental niches and those who compete the best get to have the most offspring. The more niches there are, the more diverse individuals become to take advantage of these niches.
Species don't drive evolution -- individuals do. There is plenty of evidence on the Earth today and in the fossil record to support this.

Try this...
And such rubbish as people giving all these thumbs down for giving something to read that talks about the topic of the question being asked....Did I ever state what I believe ? Do you even know the results of the arcticle ? NO, so how can you judge it ? Are we all being biggets ? Why ask questions if you don't want to hear peoples answers ?

Check your facts before you write such rubish. Theories and this one is no exception, emerge from empirical evidence. There is plenty of evidence of darwinic evolution in the fossil record as well as the current form of various spices (including humans), embryology, copmareative DNA sampling, ext. Try reading up about it some.

Some people will say they believe evolution simply because it is the anti-Christian point of view. Sort of like when you see a bumper sticker that reads, "My two favorite teams are the Bruins and whoever is playing USC" or something along those lines. They are not really picking evolution, they are simply picking the viewpoint opposing Christianity.

ofcourse there is none...evolution does tell had been proved empirically...
