Does anyone know about Morning-After Pills?
Hi, about 3 weeks ago i took an EC pill (emergency contraceptive) "the morning-after pill" (it was my first time). I know one of the side effects were that you would have irregular bleeding, but it said that should only last for 24 hours. They also said you could recieve your period earlier or later. On August 15, i started bleeding and getting cramps, this continued for about a week, but i'm confused....i dont know if this is my period or the irregular bleeding. My normal period was schedule to happen August 28, which is now. Can anyone help me?

whenever you take the morning after pill (also known as the Plan B pill), your period will be irregular. that is because you are getting a super heavy dose of birth control pill all in one pill. the pill then makes it so that your ovary doesnt release an egg.
whenever you start bleeding after taking the plan b pill, you should consider the time you start bleeding as the first day of your period. your cycle will then pick up from here. if you just spot for a couple of days and dont have any cramps, then you may just be spotting, but since it sounds like you started bleeding and having cramping for a week, i would say this is definitely your period. so i would say that august 15 was day one of your period, and from here, just count forward however many days your cycle is and plan on youer period coming then. your period wont come on august 28 because you already have had it :)

I trust Emily ok. this is how the pill works. And being on antibiotics makes the beginning administration pill ineffective, not being ill. yet i would not subject, you assert you have been on the pill for 8 months and that's lots long adequate for the pill to be working right with your equipment. And feeling ill is probable in simple terms out of your pills, many females sense ill after taking their pill. additionally, your cycle is by no ability going to be the identical. meaning one month you may sense ill such as you do now and then next month you would be completely moody and feature cramps. Then the subsequent month your breasts ought to soreness, its by no ability the identical. between the various joys of womanhood LOL. And as a techniques via fact the morning after pill is going i would not subject you have been good with taking your pill popular and on the identical time. each and every of the morning after pill does is reset your physique clock. i've got taken it in the previous, one pill interior the am and the different at evening in the previous mattress. that's in simple terms meant to provide up you from ovulating, that's like a effective beginning administration pill. And your already on the pill, so no concerns. desire this helps. :o)
