Shaun Ryder (Happy Mondays front man) at the beginning of 'Step On' he sings...?

'You're twistin my melon man!' What is your perception of this?

My cat is a keen gardener and he informed me, that his best pal Ghandi said in a dream that the best way to retrieve a melon from the soil of our earth is to give it a bloody good twist, then is should lift easily! Don't take it as gospel, it's only what i've heard, but surely the Happy's can't be talking bout the same thing!

I think it's a reference to his head (Melon) being confused, (twisted.) Who the hell knows for sure? He doesn't!!

I think Fluke is right about this one. I heard Steve McQueen say this once in the 1970's. The phrase goes back that far at least.

He's basically saying... "Stop messing with my head"

If you had taken as many drugs as Shaun Ryder your head would be screwed as well.

Fact is take one look at Bez.

They make Pete Doherty look like an asprin addict !

It refers to his brain. Being twisted. ie. "you are driving me mad, man".
