what brand of drumset should i get for around $600 or less?
What are some good brands that are relatively cheap and still dont sacrafice much quality.
I don't need a pearl set or anything, I just want somethin to jam on with some friends....
I've found some decent deals on some ludwig sets, anybody know if those have good quality? (im buying online) also I found a Pulse 8piece (w/hardware) set for $500
I just don't know what would be worth the money...

I played drums when I was younger. I prefer the Ludwig sets. Yes, they are of very good quality. I'm not sure about cost nowadays though.
