If you go to get coffee, do you actually drink coffee, chat or both?

I often wondered this stupid question. I for one, do both.

Both. I gave up smoking years ago. Coffee is now my drug of choice.

If I am going with a person to drink coffee, the purpose of going together is so that we can get together and chat. The one exception to this is if you are with someone who does work or homework in a coffee shop. My friend is a teacher and is also getting an advanced degree. When I go for coffee with him, it is more just to keep him company as he works. I bring along books and keep myself entertained. This type of an outing would not work with someone who is clingy and feels a need to constantly talk though.

Part of the reason why coffee in a coffee house might be more expensive is because you are paying for the privaledge of enjoying the ambiance.

Going to a coffee shop with a friend is always fun. You sit, talk, and enjoy your cup of coffee. I like to do this early in the mornings, and perhaps early evening. After a day worth of work, I tend to go to Starbucks, relax, read a magazine, or talk to new people.

  • I drink coffee everymorning at home, but I don't go to coffee shops, It doesn't do anything for me. I know that alot of people to coffee shops mostly to socialize, it isn't really about the coffee, and most coffee shops are gay friendly. So there's your answer. Plain and simple.

I drink the coffee, but I usually go with a friend... and there is usually live music, so I go to do a lot more than drink and talk.

i'm no longer Mormon. (of course, i've got basic Mormons that drink coffee, sodas, alcohol, and smoke, for them coffee and vodka does no longer pose a project.) i'm with George right here, vodka' Yucck! bypass with Irish Cream or Irish whiskey, touch of whipped cream. Or try the Beachcomber's Grog on the Kon Tiki. Throw in a sprint of all kinds of rum you have have been given, suitable with an inch of coffee and a few whipped cream. And, continually, in case you're removed from domicile, have a delegated driving force. advantages on your experience!

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to go get coffee and sit down and read. Sometimes I like to sit there and think, while others I like to go with friends and chat.

    All of the above.

Thing is, I don't go out for coffee, that is way too darn expensive, I bring a thermos of it and meet somewhere nice and peaceful.
