Can you suggest some puppy names?
We currently have two pregnant dogs in our shelter. They will be having their puppies in a couple of weeks are we're having a sort of contest to see who can come up with some good names for the babies. One of the moms is a Pit Bull mix named "Patty", and one of the moms is aTreeing Walker Coonhound named "Dolly".
If you provide a name that we pick for one of the pups, we'll e-mail you the pups' photo when it's born.
You can also send your suggestions to fetch11info@aol.com. Thanks!

I would say, for Dolly's little pups:
Twitty, Cash, Loretta, Hank, Willie, Patsy, Slim, and Dottie. (not sure how many there are in the litter.)
All are names of famous Country Singers. Coonhounds are common in farm country (I should know, I am in Indiana) and it would go with Dolly's name, giving them a legacy of sorts.
Patty's pups I would go with:
Brewster, Mitchell, Duke, Cline, Nixon, Truman, Lane, Arquette, and Parris (yes 2 r's). They are all famous Pattys (or Patricia's)
There's my 2 cents! Good luck on placing the adorable puppies and their mommies!

I once rescued a dog from a humane shelter and she was a sheperd sharpei mix. how cute? Anyway because of her story about being found turned in saved and returned, I named her Gypsy. Actually I named her Gypsy Queenie, but we called her Gypsy. I loved that name. She died last year at age 14. I miss her.

If they are registered, Sir Pepperail and call him Peppi. My grand-father has a dog once and I loved the name he gave to him - Shu-Puppy. Pronouced just like the first part of the word Shut, drop the t and you have ShuPuppy. I don't know why but I love that name. If I ever have a new dog in our family I am going to name him/her ShuPuppy in memory of my grandfather.
