rear defroster cable?

97 Sebring convertible. Has anyone had luck re-attaching a dislodged rear window defroster cable? did a glass repair company do it? is it expensive (id pay $100 if I thought it would work)? I have no intention of holding it for 15 minuites in the cramped back seat to see if the epoxy might work. call me a Diva!

Update:

thanks guys..i have hope!

The glass repair company could have done it but who,s to say. If you were to go with the repair route it would be inexpensive and shop should be able to reattach it for less than a $100 as there is a adhesive kit available for just this kind of repair.

you should use a rear view mirror glue kit which you get at autozone or any factors save like that. It has a swab which you clean the exterior with then you definitely glue it then tape it up on the climate until it instruments, you will possibly not might desire to tape it to hold it in place if its not a great section which you attempt to connect.

I believe they have something to fix this at Autozone and such.

Maybe it's a conductive epoxy, not sure, but you could tape it in place.
