Don't you just hate it when a "Girl Friend" moves in and tries to run the lives of your teenage Grand Children

My son moved his Girlfriend in and she is controlling whether or not the kids can see me or not. she chose not. She has no vested interest in their future. she won't work. they live off my son's inheritance money which is almost dry. Her mother is dead. She has forbid my son to see me. He is 40 years old. So be it. How stupid. I think she has issues. She doesn't want anyone else to have a mother because she doesn't, She is 45. Going through menopause. I feel sorry for her but there is nothing I can do but ride out the storm? She is making my Grand daughter, 16, miserable, and Grand son doesn't like her either.

There is something you can do! I have a friend that was in the same boat. He went to court and got grandparent visitation rights and you can too!

Sorry but your son sounds like a bonehead. Unless you take legal action theres not much you can do. Since the kids are older a judge might let them decide where they would like to live. One day the well will run dry and he will come crying home to momma. Then you will have a whole other set of problems to deal with, if he doesnt work that is.

Is your son blind? If not talk to him about this situation. Also these

kids are old enough to make up their own minds and should not

have to listen to your son's girlfriend, who really has no say over

    them.
