What is the Salvador Dali Painting called?

There's a painting by Salvador Dali on a poster in my school, and was wondering what it's called because i can't find it anywhere. The painting, as i remember, is mostly bluish and has long-legged elephants in the background, a baseball/baseball bat in the front, and there is a blue head, i think. That is all i can remember, if anyone knows what it's called, i would appreciate it..

Update:

Nikki is right, the elephants are in the background, she knows which one i'm talking about.. but i still can't find it online.. anyone else?

It looks like they are far away...in the background right? I am stumped I can't seem to find it either, weird cuz I remember a co-worker bought it from one of those guys that drive around and sell art prints at offices and places out of there trunk....so they usually only carry the most famus, known work...well now i am totally fixated..i will finmd it and when i do i will edit my answer. READY OR NOT ...HERE I COME....

OK i can't find the one i was thinking of...and for the sake of my ocd i must stop looking lol

By googling the words "dali elephants" I immediately came up with both text and images.

    The painting is "Les Elephants."

Do you mean "One Second before Waking from a Dream caused by the Flight of a Bee around a pomegranate" (1944)?

Hmmm... it sounds like his painting, "Swans Reflecting Elephants" or it could be "L'elephante Giraffe" although that one isn't very blue. Google these titles under images and see if they look right.

  • Sounds like "Apotheosis Of Homer".

i beleive you are referring to either "L'Elephante Giraffe" or "Reve Cause Par le Vol d'une Abeille Auto".
