Why doesn't the US Govt Support the TEAM USA? FINANCIALLY!?
I just heard that.. If it wasn't from Sponsors like NIKE, GATORADE, STATE FARM, etc.. There is no Team USA..
The Govt doesn't support the sport.
I don't even think we have a Sports Commission or some kind of branch in our Govt that supports the athletes..
What are your suggestions?
I mean they entertain us right?
and they bring glory to our country..
Have you guys seen the Athens Olympics? We had the most medals, specially GOLD..

Why should they support them? Don't they make enough money as it is? If it were a team of non-professional athletes then I would say maybe they should help them out w/ transportation and what not, but none of my money will go to any of the thugs that play.

because of a thing called free enterprise. the fed doesn't support our olympic teams either. never has, never will.
