Vegetarian symbol in MS Word?

I've seen a symbol which is a 'V' in a circle. I would like to use it in a Word Document, but can't seem to find it in symbols. Anyone know how I can do it?

What you can try is pasting an existing copy of the symbol from the web or wherever into a blank document - highlight what you pasted then click on tools then autocorrect.

You can then assign that symbol to a particular set of keystrokes (use something weird that you wouldn't normally type eg qaz).

When you open a new doc - assuming autocorrect is on, next time you type qaz & hit return, you'll get your symbol.

This works in Office 2003 - don't know about others

Well, I cannot find it either....you could make the picture and insert it, but that can be laborious. Look for different fonts online....let me try...If I have success, I will edit this post. K?

Like rrrevils I have searched and found nothing, my only suggestion is that you get a copy of a Font Editor program ("Fontographer" is one) and make your own.

it is for presentation purposes i.e. if someone is giving a presentation to a class or something. it is also a tool for accessibility similar to the enlargening of a mouse pointer for teh visually impaired. it is also quite cool dont you think?
