Can anyone tell me their idears ,what would you use it for ,as it seems a shame to throw it all in the bin ,as the plant is slowly going to sleep for the winter, but the flower head smells loverly,

To scent bath water, add a few drops to bath to enjoy the relaxing and soothing aromas of this wonderful

flower, and delicately scent the skin.

-Lavender sachets will fill your drawers and closets with a fresh clean fragrance, (and repel moths at the same

time!) Use lavender as a natural air freshener instead of the chemical filled products saturating the market

today. Walk into your house after a long, hard day and smell the fresh bowl of dried lavender buds on your

coffee table. Kick off your shoes, sit back and place a lavender eye pillow over your eyes. Pamper yourself by

sleeping with a lavender filled pillow.

Cut it back by 2/3Rd's to make a neat mound use the cuttings dried to make lavender bags put in drawers to keep clothes smelling good, keeps moths away ,a bag by your pillow helps sleep . By cutting back it is still time to get new growth and a late flush of flowers. It is a perennial and will come back year after year don't throw it away

Dry the flower heads and put them in pretty pillows, edge with lace and ribbon eetc. that can be put beside your pillow on the bed and help induce sleep. You can give some to family and friends, sell the rest at a car boot or donate them to a residential home for the elderly.

No drugs, but lavender does help induce peaceful sleep and some crafts shops sell them and charge a pretty penny as well.

Tie them in bunches, hang upside down in warm airy place and then put them in clothes drawers or the wardrobe
