Is there a keyboard shortcut in MS windows XP to maximize the window size?

I hate using the mouse.

    Hit Alt-Space together and then the letter X. That will maximize it. ALT-SP then N will minimize.

    F-11 will remove all but the essentials from your top tool bar and cause more stuff to be readable on the screen. It won't max or min the screen.
