    I play others when I'm just goofing off, but I usually play my own

    depends... are you already making it in the music scene? Can doing another band's music help your career. Led Zeppelin started by re-working old blues songs. But you take Dread Zeppelin - they made it by doing those same songs 10 more so years later-- just in a different way!
