Should I go to Law School?

I am a happy 24 yr old 1st Grade Bilingual Teacher. And I love my job, but I have a Bachelors in Criminal Justice which I intended to continue with a Juris Doctor. I moved, got married and priorities changed; now I want to take the LSAT but I'm not sure. If I am so happy teaching, should I try Law School after all?

If you are happy with what you are doing, why make the change? As you said, priorities changed. This may sound funny coming from me, since I've gone back to school repeatedly during my own life, but unless you either want to change careers or have a burning desire to understand the law, law school is exhausting and expensive. I would focus on the good things you already have in your life.

Law school is VERY time consuming. And any job you get after law school is likely to be equally as time consuming. If you are looking at starting a family with in the next 5 years it might not be the best idea.

Not to mention its not often you find a job you actually enjoy. Maybe stick with that a little while longer, and see if you still enjoy it.

How about going to law school... but then you can get into academia afterwards?? I'm a 25 year old in medical school, and I enjoyed teaching and tutoring when I was doing my undergrad, so I am kinda looking forward to teaching others how to be doctors in future!

If you have all the resources (time, effort etc.) and it is really your inclination, go ahead!!!
