  • Is it possible to log into our Yahoo time capsule submissions?

I heard the capsule was opened in March this year.

  • How do I choose a stethescope? What should I look for?

I am about to enter my 3rd year of medical school, and the way our program runs, I'll start getting some (limited) patient contact, but from April of next year, I'll be fully in the clinics, and dealing with patients much more regularly. Therefore, it's time for me to choose a stethescope. Is there anyone who knows a lot about this who could provide me some guidance in choosing one that would be good not just not for now, but for when I start practicing? Thank you!

  • Why can't I get to listen to launchcast on my messenger?

I never had a problem listening to my Yahoo Launchcast before, but today all the stations except "My Station" were moved to Launchcast Plus. However, when I went to the Launchcast website, I was able to listen to music in Internet Explorer. Has anyone else had this problem today?

  • How old is Akon?

I have seen the Wikipedia, and the IMDB, and they say he's 25... is it me, but he looks like he's been through a lot to be only 25. I'd say he's at least 28. You know how they promote people to be younger than they are to appeal to a younger market.

  • Are Jehovah's Witnesses Christians?

I am not interested in converting, but I know that they don't believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ, neither do they believe in the Holy Trinity. If such is the case, can JW's be considered Christians? But they do baptize members, and celebrate the Eucharist... Why would you do this if you don't believe in Him? This question is NOT to bash anyone, and I'm just asking out of curiosity

  • Where can these GPS thingies be used?

Now there are all these GPS street locators that give directions. What's the process with these? Is it that once you get one you have to pay a subscription to a service or does it work on its own. Secondly, if I go to the wilds of Africa and I am just placed in a town, would I be able to put in the beginning and end points and I'll get turn by turn directions? Or is it something only in the US and a few other countries?

  • Barak Obama... Is America ready for a black president?

I'd prefer if only Democrats answered this, but others can feel free. Now of course, Obama has not declared that he will run for president, but I would like to know if among Democrats, would his race play an important part in voting for the Democratic candidate? In addition, if he were selected as the Democratic canditate for president, do you think that this would make the Democratic party lose strength and another Republican president will be elected? I don't know what to think about him, personally. I know that he has a lot of appeal to the African American community, and his meetings have been sold out. Is this due to curiosity or is this genuine interest from actual supporters? What do you all think?

  • How do I change my country setting for Yahoo Answers?

For some reason, my Yahoo Answers signs into Yahoo Answers India by default. I live nowhere near India. However, my email is attached to Yahoo USA, which is what I want. How do I get my default setting for Yahoo ANSWERS to USA so I won't have to sign into India and click to go to the USA version?

  • Why am I attached to Yahoo Asia?

Now, I live NO WHERE close to India, yet the emails I get come from Yahoo India. In addition, the persons there always ask about Bollywood stars that I know nothing about. I live in the US. Is there any way for this setting to be changed? No offense to persons in India or the rest of Asia, but really this is annoying since it has no link to me or what I am exposed to. Thanks

  • Stem cell research?

This is something about medical ethics. There are a lot of zygotes that are in storage in fertility clinics that could be just thrown away very soon. Instead of just getting rid of these zygotes, don't you think it would be better to use these for research? I think that this is much better than having to clone someone in order to harvest the organs... with this, you'd be able to use one strain to grow many many other cells for different persons. Do you agree with exploring the possibilities that may be opened with stem cells? Or should these zygotes that have no feelings or whatever be discarded? They are very expensive to maintain, so will we just keep these zygotes in storage for all posterity?

  • Keep the faith or lost love?

My ex bf and I are each other's first loves. Though today we still love each other dearly, we broke up for a valid reason. I explained to him why I thought that we should part, and though confused, he respected my decision, and we remained good friends with the mutual hope that we'd get back together. Fast forward one year. I'm a medical student about to enter my 3rd of 5 years and he finished a diploma course in electrical technology. However, he cant land a steady job. He's not considering college. So he migrates to another country, across 3 time zones, and doesn't tell me about it. We didn't have the chance to tell each other bye or anything. He said that he would have really loved the opportunity to marry me one day, but the way how things look, doesn't look like that is going to happen. He tells me to keep the faith, but I can't help crying and thinking that I blew a chance at the love of my life.should I move on and invite others into my life, or keep the faith he says to have?
