Hi,TrickMeNicely,
I don't have a "strategy"...
I just answer, and stay myself!
Never the less, I choose all my answers myself..

I like the asker to give his opinion, to my answer..
It is not that funny : when they ask, and never look back ...

Thanks, for the question!;)
My regards!

Write an answer that you think will best appease the the person asking the question whether it is BS or not. Easy 10 points!
But I prefer giving an honest answer with thought and consideration and forgetting about the 10 points. Getting a thumbs up is better than giving a racist, a bigot, or a creep satisfaction.

Answer only questions you can give a complete and articulate answer to the question.
Offer advice based on your experience with the topic.
Offer multiple choices they can make and try to give the pros and cons of each choice.
Answers should be sincere not silly or rude, and attack the person who is asking. If you don't have anything nice to say simply don't say anything.
Be constructive and try to understand their position and feelings when submitting an answer.

Only answer questions with the kind of the answers that the questioner wants to hear. Answer the questions you actually have expertise in. Bribe the questioner. Sacrifice a goat. Ignore the last two statements and pay attention to the first two.
- How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

I guess to only answer questions that are serious, and you can give a good complete answer to it. Also before you answer the question make sure that the person always picks a best answer. Some people neglect to pick best answers - and they go into to voting.
I myself do not follow my own advice! I will answer some of the stupidest questions, and have fun giving stupid answers!;)

Who cares what others are saying...Shoot from the hip and rely on what life has taught you. If your experience level is low, more often than not your answer will have flaws and you will take a little flak.
I'm not in this for points, I'm in it for those who have a desire to get a clue! I know far too many clueless indviduals. god help them, because I haven't been able to!

I find if something grabs my interest or humor, I'll initially check out the full question. Then if I can add something of value or new information to the comments, then will do so. Being respectful should be a given, as well.

Make sure you are not rude or offensive.....pay attention to the question and don't wonder off out in left field about something they didn't inquire about......give details on what they do want to know, and links help sometimes

if youre answering in politics
dogwhistle, ALWAYS agree with the askers opinion.
otherwise find a topic that you know a lot a bout. e.g if youre a lawyer, answer in "law and ethics", if youre a game junkie answer in video games.

Be honest
Try to REALLY help the person who's asking
Answer only the questions that you're quite sure about
